The Association of College Unions International (ACUI) recently held its annual conference at the JW Marriott Orlando Grande Lakes resort.
In celebration of the ACUI 100th Anniversary Service Pledge, the 2014 conference provided both on-site and off-site volunteer opportunities for conference attendees. One of those activities was an on-site event at which volunteers assembled 13,000 ONE Project hygiene kits for homeless relief organizations in Central Florida.
Founded in 1914, ACUI is a non-profit educational organization that brings together college union and student activities professionals from hundreds of schools in seven countries. Its members work on campuses to build community. ACUI enriches them through education, advocacy, and the delivery of services.
