Sysco Guest Supply, a recognized leader in the lodging and hospitality supply industry, transports and consolidates used soap and bottled amenities from many of Clean the World’s hotel partners. In addition to logistical assistance, they will manufacture new bars of soap for Clean the World. Those bars will be made using unused surplus that otherwise would be discarded from the Sysco Guest Supply production line.

“The cost of shipping used soap from hotels to our North American Recycling Operational Centers is one of the biggest challenges we’ve faced from the beginning,” said Shawn Seipler, founder and executive director of Clean the World. “By transporting used soap through their existing truck routes and 10 North American distribution centers, Sysco Guest Supply allows us to focus more of our budget on soap distribution and hygiene education. The cost reduction will make it possible for even more hotels to join the Global Hygiene Revolution.”
